Diamondback Bikes

Way back in 1977 DiamondBack began it’s long history as a BMX manufacturer. Based in Southern California. It started out as part of Western States Imports who also owned Centurion Bicycle Workshop .Manufacturing was moved to Japan in 1978, ’78 also saw the DiamondBack Pro and DiamondBack TK’s hit the market.By the time 1981 came round the updated Pro range available became available in Mini, Medium and Senior, as a full bike or a custom Kit was available (all were full Chromoly framesets).1986 is sad date for many Old School DiamondBack fans - it’s seen as the end of an era as the Diamond Gussett dropped out of production and DiamondBack began using the same frames for numerous BMX models. To see more of the DiamondBack history, take a look here
